Our Process

The entire process takes about 10 business days. We will be in contact with you along the way and email is the best way to get a status update.

Click “Next” and answer all questions provided until you get to the checkout. If the package you’ve selected looks accurate then complete payment with your credit card.
  2. After you have placed the order, contact the establishment that has custody of the individual and notify them that you wish to use the services of Easy Affordable Cremation. If the death occurred at a facility such as a hospital, nursing home, hospice facility, etc. please let someone there know that you wish to use our services. If the death occurred at home, contact law enforcement and notify them that you wish to use our services. We will then dispatch our 24/7 team to pick up the deceased.
  3. Next, we will need the vital statistics of the deceased. This is all the information that will be on the death certificate. On the top right of our website click on the “FL Death Certificate” link. You will then answer every question asked per the state’s requirements. Once completed, simply hit “Submit” and the information will be passed along to us. We must make sure that we have the profession of the individual (it cant be retired) pick what you remember last or you Can write never worked if they never had a job
  4. A funeral director will then reach out within 24 hours during business hours (Monday through Friday between 8am – 4pm) to provide you with a contract and cremation authorization for you to DocuSign via email.
  5. Once the documents are received, we will begin the process of registering your loved one’s death with the state.
  6. We will send the vitals you’ve provided to the doctor that will be signing the death certificate. They have 3 days to ascertain a cause of death and send results back to us.
  7. We then send the vitals and cause of death to the state for approval.
  8. After state approval the case gets moved to the local medical examiner to receive approval for cremation. Once approval is received, we schedule the cremation for the deceased.
  9. Upon completion of cremation, we then contact you to schedule a day to pick up the ashes or if you had them mailed we have them mailed to you (we recommend that they are mailed).
